Partly covered: the first Mokka and Mokka electric handbooks Vauxhall UK publishes are both the December 2020 edition. A Mokka or Mokka electric built earlier in 2020 may have an earlier handbook with a different chart — check the edition printed in your handbook, or compare with the fuse box legend in your car, before removing anything.

Find it by number
Vauxhall’s handbook picture doesn’t give enough positional detail for us to draw a trustworthy map of the engine compartment fuse box (mini fuses), so we don’t draw one — we never guess where a fuse sits.
Use the numbers printed on the fuse box, inside its cover or on the fuse box picture in your owner’s manual, and find fuse 2. Check the number before removing anything.

Look for fuse number 2 on the fuse box or its cover — we don’t show positions without verified layout data.

How to replace the fuse safely
- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Take the key out, or move a keyless fob away from the car.
- Open the fuse box and find the fuse using the number on the cover legend or the chart on this page.
- Pull the fuse straight out with the plastic fuse puller (usually clipped inside the fuse box) or fine-nose pliers.
- Look at the metal strip inside the fuse. A broken or burnt strip means it has blown.
- Fit a new fuse with exactly the same amperage rating. The number on top and the colour should match.
- Refit the cover, switch on and test the component.
- Never fit a fuse with a higher amperage rating than specified. It can let wiring overheat.
- Never bridge a fuse with wire, foil or anything else.
Fuse keeps blowing?
A fuse that blows again straight away is doing its job. Something on that circuit is drawing too much current. Common causes are damaged wiring shorting to the bodywork, a failing motor or socket, water getting in, or a faulty accessory. Fitting fuse after fuse, or a bigger fuse, won’t fix the fault and can overheat the wiring. Have the circuit tested by an auto electrician.
Not the fuse? Check these next.
One window or all?
If only one window has stopped, its switch, motor or regulator is the likely cause. A fuse usually affects several windows.
Window lock switch
Check the driver’s window lock button hasn’t been pressed — it disables the rear (and sometimes passenger) switches.
Listen at the door
A click or hum with no movement points to a failed regulator rather than a fuse.
