Partly covered: Vauxhall published August 2017, March 2018 and August 2018 Corsa handbooks that could apply to a 2018 car, and their fuse charts differ. Vauxhall doesn’t say which cars each edition applies to, so we can’t tell which one matches a particular 2018 Corsa. Every official chart is shown below — check the edition printed near the end of your handbook, or compare with the fuse box legend in your car, before removing anything.
Where is the fuse box?
Engine compartment fuse box
The fuse box is in the front left of the engine compartment.
- Disengage the cover and fold it upwards until it stops.
- Remove the cover vertically upwards.
- After having changed defective fuses close the fuse box cover and press until it engages.
- If the fuse box cover is not closed correctly, malfunction may occur.

How to replace the fuse safely
- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Take the key out, or move a keyless fob away from the car.
- Open the fuse box and find the fuse using the number on the cover legend or the chart on this page.
- Pull the fuse straight out with the plastic fuse puller (usually clipped inside the fuse box) or fine-nose pliers.
- Look at the metal strip inside the fuse. A broken or burnt strip means it has blown.
- Fit a new fuse with exactly the same amperage rating. The number on top and the colour should match.
- Refit the cover, switch on and test the component.
- Never fit a fuse with a higher amperage rating than specified. It can let wiring overheat.
- Never bridge a fuse with wire, foil or anything else.
Fuse keeps blowing?
A fuse that blows again straight away is doing its job. Something on that circuit is drawing too much current. Common causes are damaged wiring shorting to the bodywork, a failing motor or socket, water getting in, or a faulty accessory. Fitting fuse after fuse, or a bigger fuse, won’t fix the fault and can overheat the wiring. Have the circuit tested by an auto electrician.

Lights switched on
Daytime running lights normally go off when the headlights are switched on. Check with the light switch off and the engine running.
Bulb or LED unit
If one side is out, the bulb or LED unit on that side is the usual cause.
