Partly covered: Vauxhall published August 2016, January 2017 and August 2017 Corsa handbooks that could apply to a 2017 car, and their fuse charts differ. Vauxhall doesn’t say which cars each edition applies to, so we can’t tell which one matches a particular 2017 Corsa. Every official chart is shown below — check the edition printed near the end of your handbook, or compare with the fuse box legend in your car, before removing anything.
Quick answer

Covers only circuits Vauxhall labels for the high beam or a headlight / headlamp. Headlight range adjustment (levelling), xenon shutters and the headlight control unit are not included; low (dipped) beam has its own page where Vauxhall lists it.
Vauxhall’s handbook doesn’t print fuse ratings, so none is shown. Fit a replacement with the same rating as the fuse you remove — the handbook says: “Data on the replacement fuse must match the data on the defective fuse.”

Full 2017 Vauxhall Corsa fuse chartWe haven’t drawn a schematic of the engine compartment fuse box for this version yet. Use the fuse and relay numbers on this page and the legend on the fuse box to find the right position.
Where to look
- 31
The fuse box is in the front left of the engine compartment.
Fuse · High beam left, Xenon low beam left
Position not shown on the schematic. Find fuse 31 on the fuse box legend.
- 32
The fuse box is in the front left of the engine compartment.
Fuse · High beam right, Xenon low beam right
Position not shown on the schematic. Find fuse 32 on the fuse box legend.
Always confirm the number against the legend on the fuse box cover before pulling anything.
How to replace the fuse safely
- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Take the key out, or move a keyless fob away from the car.
- Open the fuse box and find the fuse using the number on the cover legend or the chart on this page.
- Pull the fuse straight out with the plastic fuse puller (usually clipped inside the fuse box) or fine-nose pliers.
- Look at the metal strip inside the fuse. A broken or burnt strip means it has blown.
- Fit a new fuse with exactly the same amperage rating. The number on top and the colour should match.
- Refit the cover, switch on and test the component.
- Never fit a fuse with a higher amperage rating than specified. It can let wiring overheat.
- Never bridge a fuse with wire, foil or anything else.
Fuse keeps blowing?
A fuse that blows again straight away is doing its job. Something on that circuit is drawing too much current. Common causes are damaged wiring shorting to the bodywork, a failing motor or socket, water getting in, or a faulty accessory. Fitting fuse after fuse, or a bigger fuse, won’t fix the fault and can overheat the wiring. Have the circuit tested by an auto electrician.
Not the fuse? Check these next.
Blown bulb
If only one side is out, a failed bulb is far more likely than a fuse. Check the bulb first.
Headlight switch or stalk
If dipped and main beam behave differently, the switch or stalk may be at fault.
Relay or control module
If both sides fail at the same moment, suspect a relay, the switch or the lighting control module.
Earth connection
Dim or flickering lights often come from a corroded earth point rather than the fuse.
